I like that EFC has a specific pay system that ensures pay rise in every six months for good work. In addition, I appreciate that the accommodation offered is decent and transport to work is well organized. It is also an advantage that Norway is far enough away so that when you are here you can concentrate on work and do not think of home in the meantime. Safety is also important - good working environment and good tools. Nice co-workers and positive atmosphere cannot be ignored either. Although some co-workers have left and new ones have come over time, the atmosphere is still nice and positive.

My way in EFC began in 2014, first as a carpenter. In less than three years, I continued as a site manager, and since March 2021, I`m working as a project manager. During these years, there have been many exciting challenges and some nerves are worn out, but at the end it is good to look back at the work done and see the results. In general, the big advantage of construction work is that the result is immediately visible - it is a good motivator. During 7 years of working at EFC, I`ve gained lot of knowledge and experience, in addition I`ve finished Construction School. The main reasons for my success are sense of duty and responsibility. If I do something, it has to be done properly. For the new employee, I recommend to be open and cooperative and, if necessary, rely on the helpfulness of the team members. It is important to ask questions - better too much than too little.
